The funny thing about this is that I have this alternate ending for Alice in Wonderland in which the Queen of Hearts chops off Alice's head and while she remains alive, she becomes way more hyper and cheerful like Mabel is. Primarily, Alice would enjoy playing with her detachable head. If Alice is as crazy as The Mad Hatter, a romantic relationship between the two years later could actually work. That's why I want Mabel to be holding her head with her left hand in this picture.
